When she finally is ready to start on her own, she meets Emerson Whittaker. As months continue and she writes for him, she slowly chisels away at his armor and uncovers his past. Passion, friendship and betrayal spark in this romance novel.

The Review

This book is told in alternating points of view. Each point of view moves clearly and fluidly to the next. Amanda is a unique writer and know how to write an endearing story. Through out this whole book I was kept glued to every page and hanging on. Poor Amanda feels so much for Emerson only to be betrayed by him (I wont say how). Between all the tension between the characters, you still keep rooting for them to finally express their feelings. This book is smart and well written! I would love to read Amanda’s other works. This book is a 5 star read as it consumed and enveloped me till the last page! Thank you for sending me this book in exchange for my honest review.
