Based on a true story, we find out if love really does conquer all.
I loved how sweet and clean this book was. This book was very beautiful. It left my emotions raw. This book has a beautiful story and should be read by everyone. You cant help but fall in love with Cal. He is a sweet, proper, faith driven, hardworking gentleman. The story is very moving! You feel every emotion throughout the book as Kate and Cal face many hardships. The book while being very clean and free of language and sexual scenes, does have some war violence. I feel the scenes were necessary as it depicts the trials Cal is facing in an accurate manner. The author does a wonderful job of bringing to light this time period. I normally don’t read historical romances, but this one was so mesmerizing, that i cant wait to read more by this author. Thank you Lindsay for sending me this book in exchange for my honest review.
