In this sequel to Curse Of The Sphinx, Hope is done running. She is tired of trying to out live a prophecy. She decides to stand up and stop living in fear, and constantly running. When Artemis asks Hope to infiltrate the Olympian library by impersonating a demigod, Hope agrees. After all, what does she have left to lose. But once she is there she has to work with her enemies to get what she wants. Lines are blurred and crossed as Hope has to decide to fight, or to accept her fate.
Let me just star by saying I stayed up all night reading this book because I couldn’t put it down. Raye wrote one hell of a sequel. I really want so much more of this series already! The characters develop even further and you get more of a sense of who they are. The acing of this book moves so fluidly and quick. It’s even more action packed! While ii don’t recommend reading the sequel as a standalone, you probably could. I however suggest reading book 1 first. This book delves further than book 1 did and shows us more of a glimpse of everyone’s past and who they really are. This book truly added depth and so much more mystery. I cant wait for a book 3. Mystery, intrigue, romance, action, fast paced…. What’s not to love? Thank you Raye for sending me this book in exchange for my honest review.
