But instead  Aurianna discovers affection, and sparks of passion—along with a deadly secret. The Review

This book is so fascinating. I have never read a book about dryads (tree spirits) before! This novel had me captivated since I read the description about it! The plot was genius and immerses you in a magical world that feels like its happening around you. I loved the idea of the Orison song they sing to release her grandmothers spirit and all of the by laws were very interesting. It was breath catching as you watched Aurianna make every decision for herself and watch the punishments she is given and how she learns to stand on her own. This book is a quick read, though not in a bad way. just one that you cant put down. This is a definite book to be on everyone’s TBR list as it is so unique. Thank you Braden for sending me this book in exchange for my honest review.

The Review

The plot was well written and immerses you immediately. The characters were very well written and you feel as if you know them yourself. Although I agree with another reviewer when she compared one character to a tiny Joffrey from GOT.(pompous little sh**) I really thought the alternating points of view fit nicely and made the story feel more alive. The attention she pays to detail makes this read all the more wonderful. This is a true adventure that you don’t want to miss out on! The Review

This dystopian novel packs a punch! I was so caught p in this book I didn’t realize I hadn’t moved from one spot and had read it all in one sitting. This dystopian novel is wonderful! It was edge of your seat, nail biting, keep thinking about after its done kind of book. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. And ill be darned if it don’t end on a cliffhanger so now I’m dying to know what happens next. There was so much attention to detail in this book that you forget you’re reading a book and feel like the story is happening around you. I really found myself liking this book more than Hunger Games. This story flowed so flawlessly! I cant wait to read what’s next! The Review

I Loved, loved, loved this book! But then again I may be biased because I’m obsessed with mermaids. I haven’t read book 1 in this series, so coming into book two I found it easy to follow and could have been read just fine as a standalone. This book was fantastic and has great values to it. I love the magical world that Amy writes and I want to immerse myself into this world even more. I cant wait to go back and read book one. I loved the descriptions Amy put into this mystical world and felt they gave you a beautiful picture without being overly descriptive. Thank you Amy for sending me this book in exchange for my honest review.

Pieced Together by Kelly Moore book review

pieced together

The Plot

Following up after book 1 Broken Pieces, Kyren can’t forgive himself for killing Brogans father. He did it to save her but it cost him her. Both go separate ways to try to heal. Brogan to a remote island and Kyren to his yacht drowning himself in booze. When fate intervenes and throws them back together, they question if its really over. Can Brogan forgive him and will she tell him the truth? And more importantly can Kyren forgive himself?

The Review

A great continuation to book 1! The story is easy to pick back up, and now I am highly anticipating book 3, because yet again I am left with another cliffhanger. I must interject by saying that it does tie everything up nicely but still wide open where you crave more. These characters go through so many changes and still face so many challenges. This book is well written (even though I found a few grammatical errors). I felt that the story shows good development in the author herself as she takes on this sequel in a powerful way. This series is great and I cant wait to read more. Thank you Kelly for sending me this book in exchange for my honest review.

Broken Pieces by Kelly Moore book review

broken pieces

The Plot

Brogan, tormented by a broken heart and inner demons, refuses to have a relationship with any man. That is until she meets Kyren Nolan, sexy ex military man and yacht builder. She is captivated by him and yearns for more. Kyren has demons of his own, secrets buried dark and deep. Will they be able to surrender to their feelings or will their secrets make them crumble? An what happened when their pasts collide?

The Review

Brogan is an amazing character! She is so spirited and such a fighter! And Kyren? Well, you instantly love him! He is so charming and so persistent! The book does cover some very dark subjects and there is some adult scenes in the book, but its not done in an overly trashy way. Kelly does a great job of world building and character development. This soul shattering novel kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen to our main duo. Superb job and thank you Kelly for sending me this book in exchange for my honest review.
